Sports injury
Sport injuries can be caused by:
An accident such as a fall or heavy blow
Using inappropriate equipment or poor technique

Pre-surgery
We help you to familiarise with the process, benefit from being at your best or strongest prior to operation, discuss adaptations of your home/lifestyle and set realistic goals following surgery.
Post-surgery
We are familiar with the treatment protocols prescribed by most Orthopaedic Surgeons but we liaise with your surgeon to help you gain the best results from your operation.
Pre and post-natal physiotherapy
Pre- and post-natal physiotherapy can help with several issues, including:
Management of back, hip and pelvic girdle pain related to altered function of your pelvic floor
Maintaining wellness with activity advice whilst adapting to your changing body shape during pregnancy; including posture and breathing retraining
Abdominal muscles weakness and pelvis floor - return to high intensity or impact training
Treatments can include:
Manual therapy, soft tissue work, taping or acupuncture to help to manage aches and pains during pregnancy or post- partum
Pelvic floor rehabilitation or specific functional retraining
Exercise 1:1 catered to your individual needs during pregnancy and to help return to exercise post-partum; especially for patients with complicated pregnancies or difficult labour
Pilates, Yoga or Low Impact Strengthening Programmes; build it up gradually to High Intensity or Impact Training post-partum
Menopause coaching

How to calm mind, why to exercise and which exercise to choose
1:1 exercise programms tailored to your menopausal needs for ex: to prevent weight gain, strenghten your bones and reducing risk of fractures and osteoporosis, boost your mood and self-confidence, help with menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes or insomnia

Your first initial consultation will discuss your goals, review your injury status, your health and exercise history
I will carry out a movement assessment to identify any functional issues, joint restrictions, areas of muscle weakness or overactivity. Fitness testing may also be used to set appropriate goals
Whether you are new to exercise but need rehabilitation, training for an event but had an injury, or looking to beat a personal best and need some help to optimise your performance; I am here to support you
We will take your current work, life and training pattern into account and use your desired outcome and training goals to develop a personalised programme
